Job Description:

The Market Abuse Surveillance team is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and investigating market abuse trading activity to safeguard financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze market abuse trading alerts as per guidelines.
  • Document and upload analysis results for record-keeping with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations using research tools.
  • Escalate suspicious activities for further investigation and report daily activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate escalation of alerts to Level 2 investigators.
  • Comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, adapting to changing procedures.
  • Meet quality assurance (QA) standards and expected daily closure volumes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the banking/financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and market abuse types.
  • Analytical mindset with investigative skills to detect red flags.
