We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Category Expansion Specialist to join our fast-paced ecommerce team. This is a high-impact role that requires candidates with experience in category or brand management, preferably from online-first or D2C product brands.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving comprehensive product category expansion and leading strategic road mapping for sustained category growth. Key responsibilities include owning and executing aggressive category expansion strategies, developing clear and actionable category growth roadmaps, and exploring opportunities within the existing category and strategically unlocking adjacent product spaces to accelerate growth.

You will leverage advanced analytics and BI tools to inform strategic decisions, track KPIs, and monitor category performance. Additionally, you will use AI-powered platforms for forecasting, automation, and insight generation to support expansion goals.

Automation and tech-first execution are critical components of this role. You will utilize automation tools and scripts to seamlessly scale catalogs, optimize pricing, and manage channel promotions. You will also harness GenAI solutions for efficient product content creation and keyword strategy expansion as the category evolves.

Maintenance of strong relationships with vendors, marketplaces, and supply partners is essential for this role. You will collaborate strategically with key account managers for joint business planning, exclusive launches, and category growth events.

Rapid experimentation and innovation are core values of our company. You will design and implement rapid experiments to validate new product launches, promotional tactics, and assortment changes. You will prepare and execute robust go-to-market strategies for peak events focused on category expansion.

To be successful in this role, you should have 5+ years' experience in category or brand management, demonstrated expertise in product category expansion, strategic planning, and roadmap implementation, and a track record of owning P&L and delivering category growth in high-volume digital retail settings.
