Branch Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our branch. This role is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of quality of service, customer satisfaction, and effective service recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the branch.
  • Coordinate and integrate all functions and services in the location.
  • Implement systems for smooth operation and monitor operational efficiency of the branch.
  • Handle crisis situations effectively.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, associates, and other relevant stakeholders.

Fleet Management:

  • Manage fleet administration pertaining to vehicle operation as per company standards and policies.
  • Monitor proper fleet allocation to clients based on their requirements.
  • Ensure the fleet has required accessories according to company framework.
  • Maintain a suitable ratio of chauffeurs to fleet.

Sales & Servicing:

  • Develop new business relationships and increase revenue from existing clients.
  • Collect and analyze market and performance data (MIS) in a prescribed format.
  • Achieve set targets (budget).
  • Address major complaints effectively.

Finances:

  • Prepare annual budgets for the branch.
  • Monitor fund flow management and practice expense control as per norms.
  • Monitor receivables according to norms.
  • Ensure statutory compliance.
  • Provide regular reports with analysis to the Corporate office.

HR & Administrative:

  • Oversee overall branch administration for efficiency.
  • Ensure the Customer Service and Drivers team is adequately staffed with competent, motivated, and trained professionals.
  • Appraise the team to monitor their performance.
  • Implement and monitor statutory compliance.
  • Maintain ISO standards as per quality assurance work manual.
  • Manage contractual employees.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate or Hotel Management.
  • MBA in Marketing or Finance.

Experience:

Minimum 10-15 years in the trade, with 5-7 years as a branch head in a reputable car rental company.
