We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced security measures to protect our systems, networks, and sensitive data.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and industry-standard security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative security solutions to safeguard IT infrastructure, applications, and data from emerging threats.
  • Maintain vigilant monitoring of networks and systems for potential security breaches, anomalies, and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans; lead swift response to security incidents.
  • Perform meticulous risk assessments and recommend targeted mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other critical security tools to ensure seamless protection.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices and foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) to maintain the highest level of security.
  • Maintain and update detailed security documentation, runbooks, and technical reports to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to employees and developers on essential cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in network, application, and cloud security concepts, with a strong understanding of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Proven experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners, with a focus on proactive threat hunting and incident response.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) and familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, etc.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on staying up-to-date with evolving industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in the field.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, with a focus on ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance.
