  • This role is focused on designing and delivering next-generation solutions for our customers.

About the Role:

">
  • As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant/Engineer, you will serve as an integral member of our Network Security Professional Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and deploy security solutions for our customers.
  • Conduct threat analysis and provide input and guidance around complex systems to secure customer environments.
  • Analyze logs and events from our solutions and supply threat analysis reports.
  • Work proactively with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise.
  • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments.
  • Collaborate with sales account teams to develop technical strategies to address customer business needs.
  • Support direct manager in managing business needs through weekly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A 4-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent education/training/experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in document creation.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats.
  • A strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings.
  • The ability to leverage a variety of tools to complete migrations (e.g., scripts, Excel, third-party tools).
