Job Title: Engineering Innovation Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of cutting-edge engineering solutions for gas distribution systems, process skids, and fluid systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Development:
    • Design and engineer modular gas and liquid systems, including gas generation units (N₂, O₂, H₂), blending, metering, blanketing, and pressure control skids.
    • Collaborate with Business Development team to address technical queries and provide optimized engineering solutions.
    • Purposefully develop PFDs, P&IDs, routing, layout, instrumentation, and component selection (valves, regulators, sensors, transmitters, heat exchangers, etc.).
  • Engineering Excellence & Capability Building:
    • Develop a comprehensive solution library and component database for accelerated project delivery and sales enablement.
    • Drive the creation of a portfolio of standardized systems that are repeatable, scalable, and adaptable to industry requirements.
    • Establish robust engineering checklists and quality gates for project deliverables.
    • Mentor and train junior engineers in process design, documentation, and best practices.
  • Market Segments Analysis & Solution Mapping:
    • Analyze diverse market segments such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Hydrogen, and others.
    • Identify niche process applications where we can offer tailored, modular solutions.
    • Recommend and develop a portfolio of standard systems that can be effectively marketed and sold across projects and customers.
    • Oversee the creation of a solution library aligned with industry requirements and business expansion goals.
  • Business Growth & Enablement:
    • Closely collaborate with leadership to align technical roadmaps with strategic business objectives.
    • Support business development teams with technical proposals and client discussions during the growth phase.
    • Provide insights on emerging technologies and scalable solutions in chosen segments.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management & Support:
    • Work closely with company leaders to identify new market opportunities where we can create and expand our portfolio.
    • Analyze customer needs, industry gaps, and market trends to propose new product offerings.
    • Lead feasibility studies and proof-of-concept engineering for potential solutions.
    • Ensure new portfolio additions are designed for repeatability, scalability, and ease of deployment.
  • Tech Expertise During Execution:
    • Offer expert-level technical assistance during fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design or execution-related challenges.
    • Support client technical meetings, FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests), and site visits.
