Job Title: Technical Innovation Director

Job Description:

The selected candidate will oversee technical services, quality control, and product development activities. They will define and implement strategies aligned with business objectives and ensure adherence to international quality standards.

  • Techncial Leadership & Strategy
  • Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs.
  • Lead R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications.
  • Explore and develop hydrogen-compatible products.
  • Quality Control & Assurance
  • Oversee quality systems across manufacturing units, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT.
  • Ensure traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
  • Metallurgical Expertise
  • Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection.
  • Analyse and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Metallurgy, Materials Science).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the Oil & Gas or steel industry.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
