Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at Tata AIG, you will be responsible for leading a sales team within a defined regional territory. Your primary objective will be to oversee sales operations, meet targets, and manage the sales team in the region. Regular visits to agents and seeking new tie-ups will be essential to driving business growth.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities- Sales Performance
- Drive sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales performance.
- Combined Ratio Management
- Minimize losses and cost of acquisition.
- Maintain a combined ratio below 102%.
- Activation and Growth
- Ensure agents write more than 5,000 premiums.
- Receivables Management
- Collect receivables before due dates.
- Maintain a turnaround time of around 30 days.
- Cheque Bounce Management
- Ensure cheque bounce cases are less than or equal to 2%.
Internal Stakeholders
- CSM - For business sourcing.
- ZSM - For approvals.
- HR Team - For recruitments and incentives.
- Operations Team - For policy binding and cheque receipts.
- IT Team - For IT and server-related issues.
External Stakeholders
- Agents - Regarding new tie-ups and regular visits.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a general insurance company is required.
EducationA graduate from any discipline with prior experience is preferred.
