Job Title: Mainframe Tester

This role requires an experienced professional with 6+ years of experience in testing life cycle processes, creating test cases/data/execution, and editing JCL or creating JCL to submit test batch jobs.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of TSO/ISPF commands in Mainframe, analyzing logs in Spool for Abended jobs, and providing root cause analysis to the development/support team. They will also work with IT developers to analyze COBOL programs, identify input/output files, and edit mainframe files using layouts/copybooks using Fileaid.

The key responsibilities include creation of test strategy/test plan documents, analyzing requirements, designing test cases, preparing test data/test JCL, executing test cases, reporting issues, and coordinating with the development/support team.

This is a long-term project. The ideal candidate will be able to participate in capability building and upskilling programs, contribute towards training programs, and support practice associates in respective domains with relevant expertise.
