Automation Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineering Specialist to lead our end-to-end test automation, UI, APIs, and pipelines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools, solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle, as well as proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts.

In this role, you will build UI test flows with Playwright, improve QA processes using AI concepts, automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent, write smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, sanity checks, wire it all into Github pipelines for auto-validation, debug failing builds, isolate bugs, log them fast and sharp, synchronize with devs, PMs, and releases to stay ahead of the curve, maintain test data and manage test environment.

Duties:
  • Develop high-quality automation scripts to ensure seamless deployment and validation of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient testing strategies.
  • Optimize test execution and reduce cycle time through continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Implement performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) to measure application responsiveness and identify bottlenecks.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining complex automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
