Leasing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to lead our leasing team and drive occupancy growth.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to take their career to the next level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income.

They will identify potential tenants, negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and expansions, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants, retail chains, and brokers.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and retail sector developments to guide leasing decisions.

Collaboration with marketing and operations teams is required to plan tenant mix, promotional events, and mall positioning.

Review and approval of lease terms, conditions, and legal documentation in coordination with the legal team is also a key responsibility.

Additionally, the candidate will manage tenant onboarding, space handovers, and ensure adherence to lease compliance.

Regular reports on leasing performance, market insights, and forecast revenue are expected from the successful candidate.

Finally, leadership and mentoring of the leasing team to achieve set targets and improve operational efficiency is crucial.

Qualifications and Requirements

An MBA with at least 6 years' experience in leasing is mandatory for this role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential.
