Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seamless access to digital content, adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Effortlessly convert documents into accessible formats, conduct thorough accessibility audits, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Validate XML/ePub files using specialized tools like EPUBCheck, XML Schema, DTDs, and Schematron.
  • Deliver high-quality results by debugging and fixing formatting, layout, and structural issues in XML or ePub files.
  • Develop or maintain XSLT scripts for transforming content between formats (e.g., XML to HTML/ePub).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PDF conversion and accessibility, knowledge of key accessibility standards like WCAG, Section 508, and ADA, and familiarity with industry-leading accessibility tools like JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in the publishing or educational content industry is highly valued.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
