Cybersecurity Trainer Role

Established cybersecurity professionals seeking a challenging role as an instructor will find this opportunity of great interest. Key responsibilities include delivering engaging training sessions on various cybersecurity topics, developing and updating course materials to reflect the latest trends and practices, conducting hands-on labs to provide students with practical experience, evaluating student progress through assessments and feedback, and staying updated with new developments in the field.

Key Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field, or a Master's degree in Computer Applications or Technology
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field, with knowledge of current threats, tools, and practices
  • Teaching Experience: Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is highly desirable
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to simplify complex topics and engage a diverse audience
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and vulnerability assessment tools
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar
  • e-Learning Platforms: Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different learning styles
