About the Role:

Safeguarding organizations against evolving cyber threats is a pivotal responsibility for this position.

  • Develop and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM tools to mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead security incident investigations, ensuring swift resolution and effective mitigation of future threats.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development in cybersecurity expertise.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure alignment on security policies, promoting a unified approach to risk management.
  • Participate in long-term security initiatives, contributing innovative ideas to enhance organizational security posture.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a comparable cybersecurity role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in security principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in advanced SIEM tools, particularly Trellix, for efficient threat detection and response.
  • A strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks is essential for success in this role.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for automation and analysis is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience in managing and mentoring team members, are critical for this position.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
