Job Description

Role Overview:

  • Our organization seeks a highly skilled Information Security Manager to interpret customer queries and respond accordingly.
  • The ideal candidate will review contracts to ensure they include risk-related clauses such as security controls, data privacy, liability, and business continuity terms.
  • Responsibilities also include assessing vendors or suppliers to identify potential risks in areas like cybersecurity, data protection, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
  • The selected professional will participate in meetings with customers, partners, and vendors and handle security/privacy-related discussions.
  • Closely collaborating with IT, HRD, L&D, and other teams is essential to close customer audit observations.
  • Tracking external advisories/threat intelligence to closure is also a key responsibility.
  • Lastly, the Information Security Manager will be responsible for managing Enterprise Risk Management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer/vendor role responsible for responding, clarifying, and reviewing contracts around industry best practices and their mapping to organizational practices.
  • Profound knowledge of standards and frameworks like ISO 9000, ISO 27001, PCIDSS, SOC 2, CMMi, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA.
  • Experience leading the implementation of security standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations like GDPR is desired.
  • Previous experience in customer or external audits is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also required.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage a team of more than 3 members for at least 5 years is essential.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance or Information Security is preferred but not mandatory.
