Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality of our translation projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in managing translation teams.

  • Evaluate and estimate the scope of translation projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Train new QA resources on project validation and bug management to enhance team performance.
  • Report findings to translation teams, engineers, project managers, and clients to maintain transparency.
  • Prepare sign-off reports after completing quality assurance tasks to ensure accountability.
  • Collaborate with project managers to improve QA programs and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Validate translation, voice-over, subtitle, and transcription materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  2. Provide time estimates for projects to help manage expectations and timelines.
  3. Ensure QA resources have access to necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
  4. Monitor QC/QA progress to ensure adherence to instructions, timelines, and quality standards.
  5. Manage defects by identifying recurring issues and avoiding duplicates to minimize downtime.
  6. C coordinate with translation teams, VO artists, subtitlers, designers, and engineers to resolve defects quickly and efficiently.
  7. Investigate defects and gather necessary information for resolution to prevent future occurrences.
  8. Deliver testing deliverables and status reports to stakeholders, including testing managers, project managers, and clients.
  9. Train and evaluate QA resources to maintain high-performance levels.
  10. Provide feedback to translators and agencies to improve collaboration and quality.
