Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement testing strategies that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

You will work closely with our engineering teams to develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover potential vulnerabilities.

This position requires a strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java is also essential.

Mandatory Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement testing strategies for high availability and fault tolerance
  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to simulate real-world disruptions
  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java
