System Operations Specialist

Job Overview:

  • We seek a skilled system operations specialist to oversee the management and optimization of our Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
  • Key responsibilities include installation, configuration, and upgrades to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Complex issues will be identified through root cause analysis, with troubleshooting and resolution conducted in a timely manner.
  • Performance monitoring and optimization of OCP clusters is crucial to meeting business objectives.

  • Automation scripts will be developed for routine tasks and deployments, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Accurate documentation of the OCP environment and processes will be maintained.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of Linux administration, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell is an asset.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar is advantageous.
  • Understanding of network configurations, load balancing, and firewall management is crucial.
