Primary Responsibility">

The primary role of this position involves close collaboration with clients to comprehend their investment requirements within the structured finance domain.

The individual will play a crucial part in client onboarding, monitoring, and risk management activities for institutional clients. This includes reviewing and interpreting legal agreements, understanding servicer or trustees' reporting, and calculating key metrics such as covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and Borrowing Base calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding: Review and interpret legal agreements, understand servicer or trustees' reporting.
  • Risk Monitoring: Work closely with clients to support them in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Calculations and Metrics: Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Operations Management: Assist/lead daily operations of workstreams and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Data Accuracy: Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data and logic on proprietary platforms are accurate.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide freshers of the team to improve overall learning curve.
  • Surveillance: Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical aspects concerning overall performance proactively.
  • Process Standardisation: Assist in standardising and streamlining processes to increase efficiencies and setting up SOPS and processes around deliverables.
Required Experience/Skill Set">

Individuals with a broad understanding of structured finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing, and in-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts are desired.

Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel, understanding of various financial databases including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Factiva, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal, and ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines.

Desired candidates must have graduated with an MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA, and FRM. Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm is preferred.
