IT Operations Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Management (ITOM) specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze and review technical requirements, develop, and implement solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and configure business requirements on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Maps, Event/Alert Management, Asset Management, Performance Analytics, AIOps, Predictive Intelligence, and Integration Hub.
  • Requirements Capture: Capture requirements from business stakeholders and SMEs through demonstrations and workshops.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the development of user stories, configurations, and timely delivery.
  • Module Configuration: Configure modules, develop custom solutions as required through scripting and software development.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare high-level designs, architecture designs, and technical documentations as specified.
  • Technology Direction: Work with the platform team to update technology direction and strategy, manage BAU tasks, and provide value-based assessments and workshops to maximize business results from ServiceNow software.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT software development, custom app development, and ServiceNow implementations, system integrations, and development of ITOM.
  • Hands-on developer experience in scripting, unit testing of NOW platform features, System Integrations (REST/SOAP), and REST, WSDL, JSON.
  • Expert knowledge on configuring CMDB, CSDM model, configure Discovery, Service Mappings with Impact, Root Cause Analysis, Event, Alert, Incident Management rules, Alert Intelligence, Predictive AIOps, Manual, Automated Service Mappings.
  • Deep understanding of data sources and ability to integrate with third-party applications.
  • Manages CMDB & Asset foundation data tables, CMDB, Import Sets, and Update Sets.
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Predictive Intelligence, designing KPI-driven Reporting & Dashboards, and creating necessary development documentation.
