Identity Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity Governance Specialist to support and enhance our Identity and Access Management program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support the Okta platform, including Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, and API integrations.
  • Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Integrate new applications into Okta using Security Assertion Markup Language, OpenID Connect, and System for Cross-Domain Identity Management.
  • Monitor and manage Okta workflows, policies, and logs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues across various integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with Security, Human Resources, and IT teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain documentation for Okta configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up to date with Identity Governance industry trends and Okta platform updates and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in security audits and support compliance efforts (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, General Data Protection Regulation).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of identity governance and security best practices.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field—or equivalent work experience—is required.

5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management is also necessary.
