Job Title: Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated student intern to join our team in managing fixed income portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an eye for banking and finance to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Performing fixed income analysis and valuation tasks, including calculating Yield to Maturity (YTM) and assessing returns on different types of fixed-income securities.
  • Determining Present Value (PV) of securities and assessing market pricing strategies.
  • Comparing investment options such as corporate bonds, fixed deposits, and mutual funds.
  • Developing financial models in Excel, Python, or R to assess risk and return metrics.
  • Implementing AI-driven approaches for analyzing credit risk and probability of default.
  • Working on Value at Risk (VaR) simulations and machine learning models for risk assessment.
  • Analyzing corporate bond spreads, relative valuations, and structured finance instruments.
  • Conducting data cleaning and visualization for sovereign credit research and CDS time series data.
  • Assisting in the structuring and evaluation of project finance and asset-backed securities.
  • Understanding Microsoft Excel AI tools for financial modeling.
  • Developing and testing AI models for credit derivatives and portfolio risk assessment.
  • Working on FinTech tools like Virtual Risk Analyzer and Virtual Portfolio Analyzer.
