Job Title: Commercial Loan Operations Specialist

The key responsibility of this role is to coordinate all aspects of commercial loan closing documentation, including understanding complex loan structures and documenting large syndicated & bilateral transactions.

This position serves as the primary liaison between credit, sales, and legal documents, interacting with internal customers and collaborating with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with lender and agency requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing credit agreements, guarantees, flood, collateral, insurance, and tax documents.
  • Navigating the bank's commercial loan origination platform to access required loan documents.
  • Onboarding new clients to the bank's client onboarding application.
  • Onboarding new, renewed, and modification credit actions to the bank's core system (ACBS/Loan IQ) to include commercial, corporate, private wealth, and consumer lending actions.
  • Translating key terms from commercial loan documentation into the ACBS system of record.

Key competencies include:

  • Understanding of lending lifecycle with excellent understanding of loan agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial deal closing functions, closing document preparation, and review across bilateral & syndicated loans.
  • Excellent knowledge in ACBS/Loan IQ/AFS Loan Management Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in Signature UI, Abrigo applications adds additional value.
  • Good understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent written and strong business communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders.
