We're seeking a seasoned data engineer to join our team, with expertise in designing and deploying scalable data pipelines using Databricks.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translating them into technical solutions. You'll be responsible for optimizing Spark jobs, developing and maintaining Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards, as well as troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues.

Additionally, you'll work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services. Strong knowledge of SQL analytical functions and proficiency in programming languages like Python, Scala are essential for this role.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable data solutions
  • Optimize Spark jobs for efficient data processing and storage
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Databricks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Work with cloud platforms to integrate Databricks with other services
  • Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in a data engineering project
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and knowledge of SQL Analytical functions
  • Proficient in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows in Databricks
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala
  • Experience working in any one ETL tool like Informatica (other than Databricks) is good to have
  • Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS platforms) and familiar with cloud tools and technologies
