Senior Data Architect Role

We seek an experienced Senior Data Architect to shape the architecture of our data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor senior engineers and drive large-scale data initiatives.
  • Build a comprehensive roadmap for our data warehouse offerings, addressing complex data modeling challenges.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of features and leverage modern data platforms.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture with 4+ years leading teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience.
  • 5+ years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise.
  • Proven experience in Data Warehouse design & development using modern DW tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and dbt (mandatory).
  • Expertise in workflow orchestration using Airflow.
  • Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications.
  • Deep understanding of file formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs.
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Lead and mentor top engineering talent.
  • Drive client communication, requirement gathering, and strategic planning.
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies.
