Job Title: Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced data engineer to design, develop and deploy large-scale cloud-based data pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data processing workflows on AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda and Amazon Redshift.
  • Implement data transformation and analytics solutions using Apache Spark and SQL to meet business requirements.
  • Bulk up orchestration workflows to automate data pipeline execution, scheduling and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience in building data pipelines on cloud platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda and Amazon Redshift.
  • Expertise in Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in orchestrating and scheduling data pipelines using AppFlow, Event Bridge and Lambda.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles, database design and SQL/Spark SQL.
