Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining high-quality fiber optic networks for enterprise and ISP clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and splice fiber optic cables to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to guarantee network reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and customers during project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
  • Provide on-site support for FTTH, backbone, and enterprise fiber projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber technologies (single mode, multi-mode).
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing machines, OTDR, and related tools.
  • Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Understanding of FTTH, DWDM, MPLS, and backbone fiber networks.
  • Exposure to ISP / Telecom / Infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and industry best practices.
