Senior Associate Corporate Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our corporate finance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in M&A, investment banking, or transaction advisory services.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, financing, and fundraising. They will also assist with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing M&A projects, including sell-side and buy-side transactions.
  • Assisting with client targeting and approach to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Creating pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, marketing materials, management presentations, and structuring transactions.
  • Supporting project leads in daily execution of M&A projects.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, or transaction advisory services.
  • MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a solid academic record.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interlinkages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills – English and German (mandatory).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Command in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, among others.
