Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to participate in transaction advisory engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial due diligence, data analysis, and report writing.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and directors to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, identify market opportunities, and articulate our value proposition.

  • Participate in transaction advisory engagements.
  • Perform financial due diligence on behalf of middle market companies and private equity firms.
  • Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze company data to identify historical and projected trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations.
  • Write detailed reports to present findings to clients.
  • Work directly with Management and Managing Directors to advise clients on how to maximize opportunities and minimize risks related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Participate in developing creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks effectively managing problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies.
  • Display ability to manage team responsibilities proactively consulting with Managers, Directors and Managing Directors.
  • Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Play integral role in developing relationships with current and prospective clients identifying market opportunities articulating our value proposition.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience including experience in audit or transaction advisory services preferably with a national firm or midsize.
  • Licensed CPA/equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications specifically PowerPoint.
  • Possess drive entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn succeed in fast-paced dynamic work environment essential.
  • Strong verbal written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines work on multiple assignments prioritize each assignment as necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate throughout all levels of organization both internally externally.
  • Proficiency in excel.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology.
