Job Title: Assistant Buyer-Kids\

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our buying team to craft and implement a comprehensive divisional buying and merchandising strategy. Your key responsibilities will include partnering with the merchandising team to guarantee timely delivery of assigned purchase orders, conducting customer research and trend analysis to identify future product opportunities, and developing pricing strategies in conjunction with marketing and management. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products that meet customer requirements, maximizing current sourcing channels, and supporting negotiations with suppliers.

As a critical member of our team, your duties will also include working closely with designers on style development, managing stock and style options, and conducting market research to track competitor activities. Additionally, you will review and adjust seasonal plans, obtain merchandise after effective negotiation, and ensure timely delivery of samples by vendors. You will set standards for quality of merchandise with QA and reconcile departmental financial plans.
