Job Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the procurement, importation, and inventory control of banking devices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.

  • This position demands strong analytical skills to evaluate multiple available products/services in the market and determine the best options to meet user requirements.
  • Effective price negotiation is crucial in this role, as the incumbent must compare available goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • The successful candidate will finalize vendor and cost through a rigorous RFP process, considering user requirements and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Supporting User and Legal functions for contract execution from SCM perspective is also an essential responsibility.
  • The incumbent will manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing & Inventory Control Management for all banking products/devices, ensuring timely delivery and efficient inventory management.
  • Coordination with user functions is vital to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories for each product through proper planning and ordering management.
  • The incumbent will review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, and maintain a tracker & repository.
  • Cost-saving initiatives through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies are expected from the successful candidate.
  • Raising needs of agreements (as per contracting guidelines) well in time and ensuring renewal before expiry is a critical responsibility.
  • Handling imports shipments end-to-end, including regular coordination with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs departments for arranging materials well in time, considering user requirements.
  • Engaging with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing & inventory, and imports is essential.
  • Coordinating with Operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time is also a key responsibility.
  • Regular coordination with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collecting inventory reports daily is expected.
  • Publishing inventory reports for all products daily and supporting data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports is a critical task.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and new products is necessary to remain competitive.
  • Managing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner is a key objective.
