Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager

Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support design teams in developing electrical project plans and schedules.
  • Inspect and test electrical panels, motors, earthing pits, and distribution boards to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Verify bills of quantities (BOQ) and ensure proper procurement; control material received and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders on work performed, plan, budget, and overall status.
  • Conduct weekly and daily review meetings with the Project Manager & Contractor site engineer and resolve site-related issues to ensure site clearance for electrical activities.
  • Monitor and schedule electrical activities, coordinate with contractors, and execute projects efficiently.
  • Handle manpower for timely project completion, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety aspects as per EHS requirements, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Certify material reconciliation statements, supply and installation RA bills, and final bills, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Erect bus ducts, construct earthing pits, grid earthing for all panels, DBs, and electrical panels, utility and process equipment earthing, etc., meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Manage critical spare parts, ensuring availability and minimizing downtime, undertaking preventive and predictive maintenance work regularly for electrical and equipment.
  • Prepare and submit final handover work completion certificates, providing assurance that all work meets the required standards.
  • Install power and lighting transformers, DG, HT/LT panels, PCC panels, iMCC panels, LDB, PDB, LP, ELP, battery banks, wiring and industrial light fittings, FLP, non-FLP, and commercial light fittings, street light fittings, and weatherproof light fittings, cable trays, HT/LT cables, power, control, and instrumentation, and FAS cables, adhering to industry best practices.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading electrical projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve project goals.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to apply them effectively in project planning and execution.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
