Procurement Specialist - Electrical

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and procurement, with experience handling end-to-end procurement of electrical items. This includes sourcing the right products at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Prepare price comparison sheets and negotiate for optimal pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
