Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee our strategic sourcing activities.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies, ensuring continuous improvement in the sourcing process.

  • Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers, and establish relationships with key vendors.
  • Manage preferred supplier lists, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field. MBA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing successful sourcing strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic sourcing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and stay abreast of industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Relevant certification, such as CPSM or CIPS.
