Data Storage Specialist

The position of Storage Administrator requires an individual with a strong background in storage administration, particularly with NetApp and Hitachi systems.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with designing and implementing storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
- Configuring and managing DR replications via snapmirror, as well as vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, and storage reporting and monitoring tools.
Experience with enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, as well as industry good practice frameworks such as ITIL and Agile, is also desirable.
The candidate must possess excellent technical skills, an in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches, and significant experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc).
Responsibilities include:
- Adding disk shelf to the existing storage for standalone and High availability controllers
- Handling Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues
- Checking Storage Critical Events
- Responsible for Day-to-day storage task and changes and incidents in storage.
- Hands-on experience on NetApp and Hitachi systems
- Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches
- Significant experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc)
- Excellent understanding of CIFS - NFS technologies
