Job Title: Enterprise Data Management Specialist

Description

The Enterprise Data Management Specialist is responsible for delivering remote technical services for the setup, integration, and validation of enterprise data management systems. The specialist will ensure system readiness, install and configure data management software, integrate with directory services, create customized data storage solutions, apply access controls, and verify system performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • System Validation: Validate and confirm system components including hardware, software, and networking infrastructure. Ensure all system components are up to date and functioning correctly.
  • Data Management Setup: Install and configure data management software and customize data storage solutions based on project requirements.
  • Integration: Integrate data management systems with the client's directory services for centralized authentication and management.
  • Access Control: Create customized access control policies for teachers and students, ensuring role-based access and permissions.
  • System Performance Testing: Conduct testing to validate system performance and optimize data management processes.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Deliver a comprehensive best practices guide covering data management usage, security, and maintenance. Conduct live walkthroughs and Q&A sessions with the client's IT team for knowledge transfer.
  • Remote Support: Provide expert remote support during setup, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience with enterprise data management systems and software.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, directory services, and access control policies.
  • Hands-on experience with data storage solutions, customization, and integration.
  • Expertise in system validation, performance testing, and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting training and walkthroughs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., data management, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in educational IT environments or with classroom-specific IT setups.
  • Background in remote support and client-facing IT projects.
