Job Role:

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental professional to lead our HSE initiatives across various solar sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental laws and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Safety Management: Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage and regulatory standards during solar panel installation and maintenance.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Ensure compliance with environmental laws regarding waste disposal, emissions and water usage on solar sites.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular inspections, hazard identification and safety audits. Recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Organize daily pre-job briefings, safety inductions and awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills for fire, electrical hazards and medical emergencies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of inspections, incidents and safety equipment. Submit reports to project managers and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Valid certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, Fire Safety, First Aid.
  • 4-7 years of experience in solar, construction or energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and CAPA (Corrective Action Plans).
