Regional Editorial Administrator, South Asia Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Editorial Administrator to join our team in South Asia. As a key member of our editorial team, you will play a vital role in remotely managing local editorial administrators and ensuring the smooth operation of our editorial processes in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support to local editorial management and their teams, ensuring seamless bureau administration, procurement, and transport support.
- Oversee the daily workflows of local Editorial admin support members, establishing and adhering to best practices.
- Ensure the goals of the local Editorial admin team are aligned and work collaboratively with senior editorial management and other departments.
- Establish regular meetings with the regional General Manager and individual team members to provide updates and feedback.
- Support the talent development of team members and delegate ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Maintain a holiday schedule and delegation system for the region.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent organizational skills and experience in office administration and people management.
- At least 5 years of experience in administration support to newsrooms.
- Very strong written and spoken English and at least one more language relevant to your region.
- An ability and desire to manage a team across languages and geographies.
- The ability to work under pressure and with great flexibility.
- Goal-oriented to meet set objectives and goals.
- Excellent understanding of Reuters systems and policies.
