Key Responsibilities:

As our Regional Editorial Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  1. Provide optimal support to local editorial management and their teams with bureau administration, procurement, transport support, freelancer management, etc.
  2. Ensure our editorial operation runs smoothly in South Asia region
  3. Remotely manage a diverse team of local Editorial admin support members and support their daily workflows by establishing and adhering to best practices
  4. Ensure that the goals of the local Editorial admin team are aligned
  5. Cooperate with senior editorial management and other departments (Facilities, HR, AP) across the company
  6. Establish regular meetings with the regional General Manager
  7. Set up regular meetings with the individual team members and the entire team to provide updates and transparent feedback
  8. Support the talent development of your team members
  9. Delegate and supervise ad-hoc projects to team members depending on their availability
  10. Maintain a holiday schedule and delegation system for the region

About You:

To be one of our Regional Editorial Administrators, you will likely have:

  1. Excellent organisational skills and experience in office administration and people management and problem solving
  2. At least 5 years of experience in administration support to newsroom
  3. Very strong written and spoken English and at least one more language relevant to your region
  4. An ability and desire to manage a team across languages and geographies
  5. The ability to work under pressure and with great flexibility
  6. Goal-oriented to meet the set objectives and goals
  7. Excellent understanding of Reuters systems and polices
