Incentive Compensation Consultant

Job Role and ResponsibilitiesA. Delivery:
- Develop a deep understanding of incentive compensation data, rules, and processes.
- Work with Practice Leads to deliver end-to-end IC implementation, from requirement gathering to dashboarding and roll-out.
- Scope, negotiate, design, implement, and test changes.
- Plan, design, and implement dashboards.
- Manage task delivery through defined communication rhythms.
- Create SOPs and ensure adherence to them, follow data processing timelines, and ensure deliverables are error-free.
- Work with Practice Leads to derive task estimates for clients.
- Prioritize tasks for team members.
- Anticipate client needs and offer solutions.
- Attention to detail.
B. Product Knowledge:
1. Collaborate with clients to implement, configure, and support their global incentive compensation programs and processes.
2. Identify features and functionalities as part of client interactions and provide suggestions for improvements in the product.
C. Data Management:
1. Work with the team to identify and resolve data-related issues and questions.
2. Interpret client requirements and convert them to system design.
3. Interpret large sets of data for analysis, extract, and represent data in Excel for effective communication.
D. Analytical:
1. Troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
2. Comprehend, analyze, and present data with insights.
E. Client Engagement:
1. Engage with clients under guidance.
2. Understand client requirements and discuss with project managers.
3. Research and understand client business.
4. Manage projects on a day-to-day basis for quality, delivery, and process-based follow-ups.
F. Communication:
1. Effectively communicate project proposals, analysis, design, outputs, and business insights.
2. Collaborate with project managers to discuss solutions and client needs.
3. Present information in a clear, concise, and logical manner, focusing on key points.
Qualification Criteria1. Good understanding of the incentive compensation and sales performance management space.
2. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the consulting industry with experience in data management and project delivery.
3. Working knowledge of one or more tools like Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or R.
4. BE/B.Tech/BS (stats) from a Tier-1 institute would be preferred.
5. Proven track record of working with international/global clients and ability to coordinate/work with multiple stakeholders of the project.
6. Agile project planning and project management skills.
