Senior Backend Developer

We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services using TypeScript/Node.js.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in building scalable and maintainable systems. You will work closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend services using TypeScript/Node.js
  • Develop transactional business logic for financial flows (e.g., onboarding, withdrawals)
  • Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries
  • Integrate with third-party APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT)
  • Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns
  • PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, real-world queries
  • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs
