Job Description">

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable backend services and APIs using Golang. You will contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented/microservices backend.

You will be responsible for writing clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on quality. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Golang is required, with Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience being a plus.
  • Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals—algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
