Key Positions and Responsibilities

Job Overview

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying cutting-edge technologies relevant to modernization, smart policing, disaster response operations, infrastructure protection, and renewable energy sources.
  • They will analyze these technologies for their commercial viability in the Indian government context, alignment with procurement norms, scalability, intellectual property strength, and Technology Readiness Level (TRL).
  • An effective solution architect will recommend acquisition models, joint development, or licensing strategies to drive business growth.
  • The successful candidate will establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders including foreign OEMs, niche startups, DRDO labs, BEL, BDL, OFB, IITs, and global embassies.
  • They will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure that new technology ideas align with the organization's strategic roadmap.
  • A strong research analyst will prepare comprehensive business cases, presentations, and techno-commercial notes for internal investment decisions.
  • The role also involves monitoring competitor alliances, patented technologies, and emerging needs of ministries like MHA, MoD, NDRF, NIC, etc.

Requirements

  • Detailed understanding of the defence and homeland security ecosystem.
  • Strong research, analytical, and secondary intelligence skills.
  • Familiarity with patent search tools, TRL frameworks, and dual-use technology trends.
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting strategic briefs and analysis reports.
