Job Title: Federal Proposal Writer

We are seeking an experienced Federal Proposal Writer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of US Federal government contracting and RFP/RFQ/RFI management. The ideal candidate will have experience in bid management, capture management, and responding to RFPs and other presales activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for anchoring responses to proactive (proposals) as well as reactive (RFP/RFI) bids, identifying and proposing improvements or innovations to services and product functionality, and preparing customer-specific sales collateral.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RFP/RFQ/RFI Management: End-to-end handling of Capture management, lead generation & Bid Management.
  • Federal Contracting Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Proposal Writing: Hands-on experience in writing proposals is mandatory.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT services / staffing company.
  • Understanding of US Federal government, SLED contracting.
  • Experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI management and a good understanding of End-to-End sales life cycle.
