The key objective of this role is to provide strategic oversight and operational expertise in inventory management, dispatch planning, and supply chain operations. This involves managing centralized warehouse operations for uniforms, welcome kits, and student modules with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management
  • Accurate stock keeping of all categories: uniforms, welcome kits, and student modules requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols.
  • Forecasting demand based on academic cycles and regional requirements necessitates strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Supervising cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of physical vs. system inventory demands high levels of organization and coordination.
  • Managing replenishment planning with procurement teams necessitates effective communication and relationship-building skills.
2. Dispatch & Logistics Operations
  • Planning and executing pan-India dispatches to 150 centers within defined timelines requires strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Supervising packing, labeling, and dispatch documentation for accuracy demands attention to detail and adherence to quality control standards.
  • Negotiating and coordinating with logistics/courier partners for timely delivery necessitates strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Monitoring shipment movement, resolving escalations, and ensuring zero service gaps demands high levels of patience and conflict resolution skills.
3. Stakeholder Management
  • Acting as SPOC for academic, non-academic, and regional teams for dispatch requirements necessitates strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Aligning with center heads on material needs and delivery schedules demands effective collaboration and project management skills.
  • Managing escalations related to shortages, delays, or damages necessitates high levels of empathy and conflict resolution skills.
4. Process Compliance & Reporting
  • Implementing SOPs for warehouse, inventory, and dispatch operations demands high levels of organizational and administrative skills.
  • Tracking KPIs – dispatch accuracy, turnaround time, delivery adherence requires strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Preparing MIS & dashboards for management (stock movement, pending orders, aging inventory) necessitates effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Identifying areas for process optimization and cost efficiency demands high levels of creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of inventory & warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Knowledge of pan-India logistics & dispatch planning.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills for supply chain challenges.
  • Team leadership and vendor management capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel / Google Sheets / MIS reporting.
Qualification & Experience:
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in inventory management & dispatch operations.
  • Prior experience in pan-India distribution (educational sector/retail/e-commerce preferred).
