About the Role:

The Invoicing Trainee will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy by preparing and issuing invoices to customers efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers promptly
  • Meet invoice delivery deadlines
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites
  • Submit invoices electronically via data interchange
  • Understand and address specific customer invoicing requirements
  • Verify each invoice field before submission
  • Ensure support documentation is accurate and attached to invoices
  • Update invoice submission status immediately
  • Maintain records of invoice submissions and customer process files
  • Collaborate with payroll & invoicing teams to optimize invoice submission processes
  • Send account statements to customers
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets and resolve AR hygiene issues
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill requests
  • Document standard operating procedures for the invoicing process and update them regularly
  • Support platform improvement initiatives for invoicing efficiency
  • Assist in credit control and payment collection efforts
