The Accounts Payable role is a crucial part of our organization's finance operations.

Job Description

This position involves processing company invoices and overseeing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, with daily interactions with suppliers and close collaboration with other departments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Registering supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Conducting regular checks for discrepancies in supplier invoices
  • Producing reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using Excel to identify open queries and addressing them accordingly
  • Reconciling Supplier statements and resolving any disputes that may arise
  • Filing documents in line with local legislation
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers, Product Specialists, and aligned vendor contacts to achieve organizational goals
  • Maintaining the pipeline for opportunities within defined criteria and accounts base
  • Providing support to colleagues on queries related to their accounts
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendor personnel
  • Taking responsibility for self-development in product knowledge and job competencies, meeting all objectives set
  • Data entry for less complex invoices, resolving discrepancies in general ledger coding, approval, or potential duplicates
  • Analyzing/reviewing vendor statements for accuracy, resolving less complex invoice discrepancies, and entering data into the system
  • Preparing and processing accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
  • Communicating AP-related processes and status to external and internal suppliers both verbally and written

  • Able to work independently and as a responsible, conscientious team member
  • Sound business acumen and ability to understand client needs
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
