Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to administer and implement data loss prevention solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Loss Prevention Administration
    • Deploy, configure, and manage data loss prevention systems such as Forcepoint and Symantec.
    • Design and implement policies for email, endpoints, cloud storage, and web traffic.
    • Integrate data loss prevention with security information and event management (SIEM), cloud access security broker (CASB), and other security tools for centralized monitoring.
    • Conduct proof-of-concept testing for new features and updates.
    • Work with IT teams and business units to align configurations with organizational security policies.
  • Policy Tuning & Optimization
    • Regularly review and fine-tune policies to reduce false positives and negatives.
    • Conduct data classification and discovery scans to identify sensitive information.
    • Establish role-based access controls to manage policy enforcement.
    • Implement custom content detection rules for industry-specific sensitive data.
  • Incident Response & Monitoring
    • Investigate alerts and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
    • Escalate high-risk incidents to the Security Operations Center and Incident Response teams.
    • Maintain incident response playbooks and coordinate mitigation strategies for data leaks.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to track policy violations and incident trends.
  • Data Classification and Information Rights Management
    • Create and manage classification labels and content policies.
    • Set permissions for users based on organizational requirements.
    • Activate or deactivate file protection as needed.
    • Transfer ownership or revoke access to files.
