Overview

To excel in this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our Database Security initiatives. This position requires hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security and the ability to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Security Solutions
    • Configure and implement Imperva Database Security solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with Customers
    • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, refine data, and deploy tailored solutions.
  • Perform System Updates
    • Perform system changes and updates to support U.S.-based teams.
  • Troubleshoot Issues
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance.
  • Develop Automation Scripts
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Update Knowledge Base
    • Update knowledge base, documentation, and tooling to improve incident response and operational readiness.
  • Support Incident Reviews

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Engineering Roles
    • 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
  • Hands-On Experience with Imperva
    • Must have hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security.
  • Strong Background in Linux and System Administration
    • Strong background in Linux, System Administration, OS/Server Administration, and Firewall troubleshooting.
  • Scripting Experience
    • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Ability to work independently during U.S. night shift hours and occasionally sync with the team at 9 AM CST.
  • Excellent Customer Interaction Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
