Job Title: Tax Specialist

This role requires an individual who can effectively manage tax audit transfer pricing income tax returns and other statutory forms based on detailed analysis of applicability of clauses sections etc and information through effective coordination with various functions.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tax audit transfer pricing income tax returns and other statutory forms
  • Preparing submissions in response to notices from government authorities
  • Providing consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications on overseas payments made by entities
  • Analysis of the tax implications of certain incentives given to employees

Key skills required for this role include:

Responsibilities:
  • Undertaking detailed study of case history legal research on issued involved and preparation of appeal submissions
  • Providing consultancy on certain MA transactions capital gains issues corporate structuring etc
  • Analysis of the tax implications of the certain incentives given to employees and advising internal stakeholders HR Payroll teams on the tax effective structure for employees
  • Effectively liaising with external and internal stakeholders including government authorities and other departments
